The Law Centre provides a free legal advice and advocacy service for unwaged and low paid people and for people experiencing unlawful discrimination.
We can help people who live or work in Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
In cases of race discrimination or disability discrimination we can advise people living or working anywhere in the South West.
All advice is free and confidential.
Our Areas of Law
We offer specialist advice and representation in the following areas of law:

- Immigration and Nationality
- Welfare Benefits
We also have volunteer solicitors who can offer a free half-hour evening appointment in other areas of law.
Projects
- The Bright Project, set up to improve the standard and availability of legal advice to Black and other Minority Ethnic (BME) communities in Bristol.
- The Butterfly Project, aims to help women who have moved to the UK and are in need of advice or assistance.
- The Disability Rights Project provides a casework service to disabled people who have disability discrimination complaints about goods, services, facilities, housing, private clubs or public bodies.

Accessibility
