What to bring with you for Housing Advice
Please bring with you what you have of the following papers when you visit the Law Centre for Housing Advice:
Evidence of your (and your partner's) income
- last 3 month's payslips
- recent letters about any benefits you and your partner receive
- recent letters about any tax credits you and your partner receive
- recent letters about any pension and/or pension credit you or your partner receive
- recent bank statements
- tenancy agreement
- letters from council/housing association/landlord
- rent statements
- County Court letters
- any other documents from council/housing association/landlord, such as Notice Seeking Possession, Warrant of Eviction
- any other relevant documents or letters
If you cannot provide evidence of income you may still be able to get advice from the Law Centre.
